In a recent press release, Chelsea management announced that they have reached a new contract agreement with Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Under the new deal, the talented midfielder will be with the club until 2021 and will reportedly earn £60,000 a week for the duration of the agreement.
Loftus-Cheek, a 20-year-old Englishman, has been with Chelsea since he was 8, and he rose through the ranks to become a standout player in the Under-21 Premier League and the UEFA Youth League. He made his debut with the Blues in 2014 and has since appeared in 13 games for the club. With passing and scoring skills, Loftus-Cheek will likely play a large part in Chelsea’s future offense.
